This blog was created to gather information from potential investors interested in ecologically sound coastal development projects in Panama. The blog's subject is based on a beach front farm which was purchasd as an investment. The farm is located on the stunning Pacific Coast of Azuero Peninsula, Republic of Panama, is 150ha in size, has 1.2 km of beach front and is titled. The investor is now considering options on recieving a return on the investment without devaluating the ecological value of the site. For this purpose any sales of parts or all of the property will be made with the condition that the buyer will respect current forest cover and leave at least 70% overal forest cover on the property through a conservation easement. The owner is currently considering the following options : 1) selling part(s) or all of the farm as it is; 2)reforesting a portion and selling part(s) or all of the farm as a reforestation/real estate investment including tax benefits 3)developing an ecotourisism business and selling part(s) or all of the property. Your comments regarding these ideas are welcome.
